Support Loci
Loci is free and ad-free, and it will stay that way. That also means it is paid for out of my own pocket.
Why it exists
A few years ago I read Joshua Foer's "Moonwalking with Einstein": a journalist who, while writing a story, stumbles into a memory competition, decides to learn the method, and a year later competes in the championship himself. It made me so curious that I started trying it myself, and it was brilliant. But the method only works if you train it consistently, and I was missing a simple tool for a bit of practice every day. Loci is that tool.
Who builds it
One person. There is no company, no investors and no sponsors behind Loci: it is a side project I build in my spare time.
What it costs
The domain, hosting and database cost money every month, whether anyone chips in or not. Then there are the evenings and weekends spent writing the guide and building the exercises.
