The service

Loci (learn-loci.com), run by Simone Cremasco, is a free website to learn the method of loci and practise memory exercises. By using it you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Account

An account is optional and only serves to sync your progress across devices. You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure. You can stop using Loci at any time and ask for your account to be deleted, as described in the privacy policy.

Fair use

Please use Loci for its purpose. In particular, don't:

• try to access other people's data or break the site's security;
• overload the service with automated requests;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Content

The texts, guide, design and code of Loci belong to Simone Cremasco. You may share links and short quotes with attribution; for anything else, ask first. What you create on Loci (palaces, PAO system, notes) remains yours.

No warranty

Loci is provided free of charge and "as is". I do my best to keep it working and to keep your progress safe, but I can't guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors, or that data will never be lost: download a backup from the Progress page if it matters to you. Loci is an educational tool and not medical or psychological advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Simone Cremasco is not liable for indirect damages or loss of data arising from the use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and termination

The site and these terms may change over time; the current version is always on this page. Accounts used in breach of these terms may be suspended.
